About

Two decades in the classroom

Dr. Bolar has spent more than twenty years in K–12 education — as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator — working closely with students, parents, and communities across both urban and rural settings. He holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Virginia State University, along with a Division Superintendent License. Today he splits his time between the classroom, his writing desk, and stages across the country.
